USAspending and Congress.gov each give you one slice. We give you the line that connects them.
BlazingStar joins appropriations, OMB apportionments, Treasury execution reports, and federal awards at the Treasury account. Start from a law, an account, an award, or a place, and follow the money in either direction.
One account, four sources, one screen
An account page puts the law, OMB's apportionment, the agency's execution report, and the funding opportunities behind it in tabs on a single page.

Appropriation
The enacted language, from the public law that funded the account.

Apportionment
Each OMB apportionment iteration, with line-by-line changes from the one before.

Execution
The SF-133: the unobligated balance drawing down over time, with the report's figures below.

Opportunities
Open, forecasted and archived Grants.gov funding opportunities for the account's programs.
Follow one award out
An award page shows which Treasury accounts funded it, by period, where the agency reported that link (File C). From the award, go to the recipient's federal portfolio, by agency and program.

Award → the accounts that funded it

Award → the recipient's portfolio
Show me my district
Spending by state, congressional district, and ZIP code, mapped by place of performance.
Agency pages break the year's obligations into contracts and grants, then down to contract categories and grant programs.

Read the law, and what changed
Enacted appropriations acts from FY2022 on, each as a PDF from its official source, readable division by division with the accounts they fund in the margin. Compare an account's language between enacted years, side by side or as a redline, and export it to PDF.

Search, then take it with you
Search federal contracts and assistance by recipient, agency, place, industry code, and program, and export your results to CSV with a README and a provenance file. One search box covers bill text, accounts, recipients, and grants.
More than 50 million USAspending records, as of September 9, 2026.

Where we stand, plainly
- We are not SOC 2 audited. No SOC 2 report exists yet. A formal audit is on our roadmap, and we'll say so here when it's done.
- We are not FedRAMP authorized. If your office requires a FedRAMP-authorized system, we are not one today.
- We host in the United States, in DigitalOcean's Richmond, Virginia region, on our own PostgreSQL servers, with encrypted backups. We keep audit logs for 12 months.
- Every dollar amount in BlazingStar's data comes from government source files through rule-based code, not an AI model; we use AI to help read and summarize documents, and your data is never sent to an outside AI provider.
- Questions from your security or IT office: hello@blazingstaranalytics.com. We'll answer in writing.
We track government spending. Not you.
